100 DAYS

In October 2012, choreographer Peter Kyle premiered 100 DAYS, a new extended solo chronicling one hundred consecutive days of borrowed movement. Exposing Kyle’s versatility as a performer and testing his endurance, the work is an assemblage of impressions showcasing both expressive range and physical nuance. Ever hear the maxim, “If you put it onstage, no one will believe it”? Well… believe it, these personae are real. Or are they? Dancing between fictional and non-fictional movement sources the imagined becomes real and the mimicked morphs into pure invention. The one hundred days took place between July 1, 2012 and October 8, 2012. The world premiere of 100 DAYS took place at Triskelion Arts, October 18-20, 2012. The project features an original score by composer William Catanzaro, lighting design by Andrew Dickerson, and costume design by Garo Sparo.

After his sold-out run in October, Peter reprised the project for performances June 8-9, 2013 at Triskelion Arts. Read the glowing review of the project by clicking HERE.
