Classes/Workshops

Peter Kyle Dance conducts teaching and creative residencies internationally, including master classes, lecture-demonstrations and workshops for dancers, actors, performers, and students of all skill levels and age groups. Our educational programs help individuals understand and explore movement in ways that allow for creative, physical, kinesthetic and intellectual resilience. We invite students to look again at the basic elements of dance–time, space, shape, and motion–to develop their own, unique artistic voice while experiencing new possibilities in dance.

Our concept-oriented classes include dance technique, improvisation, performance skills, collaborative processes, composition, movement for actors, physical approach to character development, and Slow Tempo. The company is a willing partner with schools, presenters, museums, arts service organizations, performance companies, and individual artists from other disciplines in the design of outreach projects and curricular initiatives tailored to meet the specific needs of each community.
